Heard this song for the first time when I saw "My Sister's Keeper". I watched the movie again recently, and listened to the song closer, and thought: "Huh, that fits oddly well..." X3
It's upbeat and depressing at the same time. Plus it's prettyful. ^__^
Poor toys. Poor, helpless toys.
I felt sad just drawing this.
For that long journey, they're getting nothing in return. I really can't help it, I love them too much.
I fussed over this way too much. XD I was constantly tweaking it because I was never satisfyed enough to call it finished. Especially the colour scheme, because I loved the washed out sepia tones the flashback in the film had. Eventually, I just said "Forget it" and posted.

Ugh, I'm so busy. Soooo busy. And getting easily boerd because let's face it, semester one should be finished already. XD At least it's my birthday on Thursday! Yay!

Sadly neglection, abuse, being unwanted, and tossed away like garbage can damage the heart and mind of a toy to the point where they can never be the same as they used to ever again. We saw how being unwanted and never bought took a heavy toll on Prospector and how abandonment and replaced destroyed Lotso to believe that the love given to him was nothing but a lie. Now for the upcoming Toy Story 4, we're about to find out how having a broken defect tainted and destroyed Gabby Gabby who has never known the love of a child, spending decades in an antique shop.
