Yeah, this proves that I think too much when watching Disney movies. I can't help it, I love filling in the gaps! 
One of those gaps being: Uh, where's Charlotte's mother? I'm assuming she has one, no? Yet, she appears no where.
Not even a small cameo at the "Down in New Orleans Reprise" finale.
It's true that she wouldn't have been a very important character, but we saw plenty of Lottie's dad, so why not?
Moms always seem to be absent in Disney films.
(Except for Tiana and Naveen's ^_^)
With that thought in mind, plus a concept painting of "Tiana's Palace" jumping with customers in the Art Of book which had Big Daddy clinking glasses with a woman that looked like she was his wife, I give you just that!
I don't know why, but when I think Charlotte's mother, I think free spirited/women's rights activist. Y'know, a lot of sparkle to her.
Kind of like Tiana, but a little less of a hard worker....
I tried to make her look like Charlotte, while still having a unique air to her. She looks a little young... What do you guys think?
And here's where I need your help, I'm lost for a name. T-T
I narrowed down a few choices, but I can't decide. Any suggestions? So I can name her something. XD

Oh, golly, I know this piece was sumbitted a long time ago... but I still have to put my two-cents in. XD
I've actually Role Played as Lottie for a year now (and after years and years of hardcore honors and AP Literature courses, I'm really quite fond of characterization) and I actually came up with a bit of a timeline using what minimal information was given in the movie... mostly about Lottie's mother, odd enough.
